Eggs and Hash Browns Recipe

Here is an eggs and hash browns recipe that I cook up every time we go camping. Everyone loves it so much that I will fix it more then once on each camping trip.

It’s not much more then your basic eggs and hash browns breakfast with the exception of adding some sausage to the hash browns.

The sausage gives the hash browns a great flavor that turns your every day fried potato’s into a mouth watering meal. Here are the Ingredients that you will need.

Ingredients

*One bag of O’Bryan potatos

*One pound of sausage, I use Jimmy Dean for the great quality and taste

*Eggs, 2 per person

*Bacon

*Link sausage

*Bread

Start out by frying up the sausage just as you would a pound of hamburger.

When the sausage is just about fully cooked, throw in the O’Bryan potatos. I usually leave the grease in the pan and add some butter as well. If You would prefer to drain the grease, be sure to add some butter or oil to keep the potato’s from sticking.

When the hash browns are just about done, It’s time to start the link sausage and bacon. By the time the sausage and bacon is almost done, remove the hash browns and cover with foil to keep them warm.

By the time you get another pan ready to cook the eggs in, the sausage and bacon should be ready and you can remove them from the stove as well.

As you are cooking the eggs, you can use a camping toaster that you place over an open fire to brown your toast as you are cooking the eggs.

It’s now time to start serving up your eggs and hash browns recipe. Of course, You will have to wait until everyone else is fed before you dish up your own plate.
