When it comes time to plan for camping, then there are lots of places in North America. Ideally, there should be a camping place near the mountains and beaches so that we can enjoy the nature.
Campgrounds should be set up for hikers and well equipped to handle bikers as well. If I’m planning to travel through the Midwest, You will find no better and enjoyable camping facilities than Michigan state forest campgrounds.
They are well equipped and suited for family and couple camping. In fact, the hospitality alone may keep you coming back for many days. There are more than 140 campgrounds in the Wolverine state.
The Michigan state forest campgrounds are located on rivers and lakes making it one of the best places for boating and fishing. Many of these sites are also great for hiking, horseback riding, biking and bird watching.
Other activities at these campgrounds range from cross-country skiing to mushroom hunting. Some of these campsites are so isolated that they can only be accessed by hiking through the woods or rowing down a river making it one of the best camping sources for family enjoyment.
One lovely example of Michigan state forest campgrounds is Brimley State Park, which is located along Lake Superior's Whitefish Bay. You can enjoy boating, fishing, and hiking along the scenic waterway.
Other places that I love to camp are:
1. Ventura County Campgrounds
2. San Diego Area Campgrounds
3. Alexander Springs Campground
4. Santa Barbara County Campgrounds
5. Big Basin Redwoods State Park Campgrounds
6. Payson Area Campgrounds
7. Spokane and Northeastern Washington Campgrounds
8. Sacramento and Western Sierra Foothills Campgrounds
9. Malibu Creek State Park Campground
10. Juniper Springs Campground
