Best Campgrounds In Kent Washington

I enjoy staying at the Seattle/Tacoma Kampground of America site. I have many interesting reasons why I enjoy this campground.





One reason is that on Sundays from Memorial Day through Labor Day they have an all you can eat pancake breakfast for $3 a person.

They offer juice, coffee and sausage for the hungry camper as well. This is either a perfect start to the camping trip or a perfect way to end it before the long trip home.

Another reason is that I enjoy the free, fun family activates the campground offers. They offer at no extra charge a playground complete with a place to play horseshoes and basketball.

They offer a pool open only in the summer though-for those hot summer days, a gazebo to shade you from the sun, free hot showers and a biking/jogging trail that winds through a bird sanctuary, which is also free for guests to visit.

There’s no need to lug your bike because they also offer bike rentals year round.





They also offer onsite laundry, a snack shop, a small store complete with firewood, barbeque and grilling supplies, ice and cold drinks.

They can handle RV’s up to 50 feet in length, tents and groups of any size and they welcome scout groups. They are open year round, but the swimming pool is only open from May 16th through September 22nd.

Rates vary depending on length of stay, time of year and if you’re using a RV, camping trailer, van or tent camping.

The campground does allow pets providing they are current on their shots and are considered well mannered and kept on a leash when out doors.
